This morning, we went to the post office to apply for Peanut’s passport.
We had to wait for about an hour and the process actually took only about 10 minutes. Janie did a great job waiting quietly and patiently today.

Warehouse Sale
This morning, Peanut went to a warehouse shoe sale with Mama and Yai. He woke up while we were waiting in line and was such a good boy.
After he was fed and changed, he stayed awake and watched the leaves sway in the breeze above us.

Inside, he napped for a bit and woke up to see the new shoes that Mama bought for him. They’re Size 5 so he’ll have to wait a bit before he can wear them.

Social Hour
When Janie got home from school, she and Peanut talked to Ta over FaceTime.
Then she set up Circle Time with her friends and read a book to them.
Listening to Yai
Peanut was very attentive to what Yai had to say this morning. Maybe she was sharing her secret recipe for coconut sticky rice.
Foam Stickers
This morning, Janie told Dada that she wanted both Mama and Dada to pick her up today. So, that’s what we did and we found her happily sitting with her teacher working on an art project. She looked up with a big smile and then went back to work.
So, we hung out and watched her finish her project. All the girls seemed to love the foam stickers!
When we got home, she showed Yai what she made.
Sunday Afternoon
This afternoon, Janie finished this puzzle ALL ON HER OWN!! She was so proud of herself.
Later, she made playdough spaghetti with Yai.
She also helped give Peanut a bottle with a little bit of Mama’s help.
A weekend also wouldn’t be complete without a trip to Costco to buy milk. The AC was also nice on this very warm day in SF.
Janie also skipped her nap this afternoon so she was out by 7pm.

It was really hot outside today so Janie went swimming with Dada. She not only practiced her kicking but learned how to hold her breath to go underwater!

In the meantime, Peanut enjoyed the warm weather under the shade and had a nice nap.
We are so proud of her! She’s always been so afraid of having water poured over her head so this is a big step for her!!
Sitting with Yai
After the morning bath, Peanut sat with Yai and was wide awake.
Janie also joined in to help keep him happy.
They later called Cousin Alice and Auntie Joy on FaceTime.
