Watch us grow!
We had a BBQ at Uncle Johnny’s house for July 4th this year. The kids played on the bounce house and in the tents. We also grilled and roasted marshmallows before the fireworks started at Artesia Park, Cerritos High School, and throughout the neighborhoods.
We went to Knott’s today and the kids had a blast.
One of their favorite rides is Sierra Sidewinder. It’s a fast rollercoaster that is part of Camp Snoopy and allows kids under 48″ to ride!
Unfortunately, all the other fast rides do have a height requirement and Peanut is not quite there yet.
It was a pretty hot day too so we went on the log ride. It was the kids’ first time and they enjoyed it with the exception for the creepy fake people inside.

Uncle Jason came over to make a s’mores thing that was part of an online baking class. The kids had fun watching and sort of helping.
This afternoon, we walked to the playground in the community.
While Mama went back to work, the kids got some worksheets done in the morning while Dada and Uncle Johnny did some work.
In the afternoon, they met up with Auntie Jia for a little Camp Snoopy at Knott’s. Since we were going to live so close to the park, we got a season pass for the whole family and it’s already getting some use!
Before dropping Mama off at the airport, we went to Mitsuwa for dinner and then stopped an ice cream shop.
We’ve got some things to fix in the Buena Park house so we went to Home Depot to pick up a few things.
We celebrated Father’s Day a day early at the Old Fish House. They had outdoor dining with a live band.
As soon as we were all moved in, Alice showed up with a bag packed for a sleep over. The next morning they were up and ready to play. Summer Break has definitely arrived!
We arrived late last night and the kids stayed at Yai and Ta’s house while the movers unloaded.
When it was all done, we all went out to dinner at Sizzler. That’s how we do it in SoCal!
