Now when she goes up to the water, she’ll point and say “agua”. Nice generalization, kid!
Watch us grow!

Janie had a fun time at the airport and did a decent job on the DELAYED flight home.

She had so much fun roaming the baggage claim area at SFO. There was so much room to run!!

Janie went to the Race Expo to pick up her bib and t-shirt for tomorrow’s race. It’s hard to see but her bib has her number and name printed on it! Cool!

There was so much space downstairs so she got to walk around with Daddy and Auntie Joy.

They had water stations all around the expo and she practiced sipping from an open cup.

We’ve gotta stay hydrated in this heat and for the race tomorrow!!

Janie also scored a Little Mermaid magnet! Yippee!

She also loved all the free rubber arm bands that we picked up.

Since the expo was at Disneyland Hotel, we stayed for dinner at Downtown Disney. She gobbled up the cold grapes that Mommy packed for her. It was SO HOT outside.

We also took her into the Lego Store to take a look around. So. Many. Legos.

Uncle Johnny bought her a mini set of Legos today.

It has a polar bear, penguin, and the cube pieces that she loves so much! Thanks, Uncle!

Here she is with Mommy, Auntie Marie, Cole, and Brandon.

This morning, we went for a walk with Yai and Koa.

Janie got to run free but she preferred holding onto Yai’s hand for most of the walk.

Janie was showing Yai how she can back up onto a stool and kick her legs. She’s also very interested in Daddy’s old iPod Touch, which she thinks is a phone.
Once she found me, she wandered off again and then stopped to dance to music that turned on suddenly. A lot of the people along the fence enjoyed the entertainment.
Janie wandered off a bit and I’m happy to see that she looks back for me.

Janie went to Mommy’s work this afternoon and played in the office.

Auntie Donna made her giggle.

Auntie MaryAnn helped her break into Auntie Patty’s desk.

She also took over Auntie Teresa’s desk while she was away.

The giant mirrors were also a lot of fun!

Janie went on an evening stroll at the Brannan Street Park with Mommy and Koa.

She loved climbing up and down the step.

Here she is checking out the bay.

“Yaaaaaay! I love running free!!!”

We got up early to go to the California Academy of Sciences. We renewed our membership so Janie will get to go as much as she wants for the next 12 months! Yippee!

The last time she was at the Academy, she wasn’t able to walk yet so today’s new found freedom was so delightful for her. We spent most of the time down in the aquarium. There was so much to see and so many places to explore on foot!

She looks so grown up in this photo with her arms swinging as she walks.

Her favorite was the big reef exhibit with stairs. The stairs were actually her favorite part. She could have spent all day just going up and down those steps.

Here’s Janie in front of an orca skeleton. It’s “built for speed” and so is this little trouble-maker.

With all that running around, Janie had to stop for a little cheese snack…of course.

Then it was back to the fun!

We were done by noon and just in time for her nap. What an exciting morning!
