Janie scored a piece of Yai’s french toast this morning. One day she will be able to sit at the kitchen counter all by herself.
Until then, she will gladly stand on the stool with Ta’s help. Here she is wiping down the counter while Yai is washing the dishes.
Yai is what Janie calls her maternal grandmother in Thai. Now she can actually say it!
This morning, Ta brought her out to the backyard to see the sprinklers water the grass. Janie was not a fan and pulled Ta back to the house.
Just moments later, she walked over to the sprinklers and wanted to walk right in. Funny girl.
This morning, Janie hung out with Ta on FaceTime.
Too bad she woke up too early this morning and was ready for a nap by 8am.
Happy Birthday, Ta!
Ta was in town with his friend this weekend and came over for about an hour in the morning.
Janie also got to play with him just before bedtime. Thanks for coming over for a couple hours!
Janie had her first taste of cake and nearly finished the whole slice of paradise cake.

Janie tried the big swing today.
She did a great job holding on and Ta was there to catch her when she leaned back too far.
Janie had lots of visitors today!
Yai, Ta, Great Uncle Sak, and Great Aunt Jim came over and we took them our for a long walk outside.
It was warm enough to wear shorts and sandals today! Pier 39 has lots of places to cruise and explore!
She even got a nice long nap and some Vitamin D on the 2-mile walk home.
Early this morning, Yai and Ta left for the airport. Janie was still sleeping but woke up right before they left so they were able to say goodbye. See you next time!
