dinner

I knew this was coming but didn’t think it would happen so quickly (like everything else so far).  Tonight at dinner, she was not as eager to eat what I had made and packed for her.  Tofu is one of her favorites and she was actually picking it up and tossing it aside onto the floor.

Silly Squints

Silly Squints a video by beakatude on Flickr.

She did this a while back over Christmas and we quickly extinguished it.  However, it has made a comeback this month on its own and she usually does it when she’s eating.  It usually looks like she’s flirting and I actually think it’s pretty cute.  However, she went a little overboard tonight and it looked like it made her a little cross-eyed on the last couple times.

This is her “HEY!” expression.  She’s almost got the whole waving thing down but it’s not consistent yet.

mischief

This is Janie being up to no good.  I think she was trying to move the ottoman here.

curious

This is Janie’s curious look.  She heard Daddy pounding the chicken breast in the kitchen and tried to see where it was coming from.

Almost impossible…

Nowadays with Janie on the move, it’s getting increasingly harder to get photos of her.  As soon as you place her down, she lunges forward in an attempt to get closer to the camera.  Add a moving baby to low-light conditions and you’ve got an almost impossible mission.  It’s gonna be even harder once she actually figures out how to crawl.  Sheesh.
