Look who’s sticking out his tongue! Silly boy.

Mama picked up Janie this afternoon and found her working on the alphabet puzzle with a classmate.

Teacher Denise helped wrap up all her artwork into a roll to take home.

She also made this picture by gluing beans and flowers to the board.

We walked along The Embarcadero today to get home. Happy Friday!

Peanut is wearing one of Henry’s outfits that Auntie Teresa handed down to him.

Love the hoodie!!!

Just like we did with Janie when she was a week old, we took Peanut out to the Farmer’s Market today.

Big sis rode her scooter while Peanut hung out in the carrier.

He was super cozy and slept the entire time with the exception of his feedings throughout the day.

Janie got a special treat, soft serve, for having such a successful first week of preschool.

She picked out vanilla and chocolate swirl and had it in a cone with a spoon – her favorite.

She felt so special because soft serve is for big kids and not for babies.

After a stop at the playground, we had lunch nearby.
Janie tried to use chopsticks to pick up gyoza but then realized stabbing them with just one stick was more effective.

Dada shielded Peanut’s head from his noodles while he ate lunch.

This was very similar to what he did last time with Janie.

On the way home, Dada carried Peanut in the carrier. He, again, snoozed the whole way home.

Janie also slept in her stroller so that’s why she wasn’t included in this photo.

Here’s the photo we took with Janie when she was the same age.

Can you see his little face inside? So cute.

Dada was grilling dinner so we all went down to the courtyard to hang out. Janie had a tea party while Peanut napped in the baby carrier.

There he is, hiding from the wind.

He was so comfy and cozy in there.

Janie was had a really good time pouring tea and running around on the grass.

After running some errands in the morning, we had lunch at the Japanese place in the neighborhood.

Janie had a big lunch including an eel roll, soup, noodles, edamame, and brocolli.

The SF Marathon ran past our house today and we went over to Pier 28 to watch Uncle Jimmy finish.

Janie was super speedy on her tricycle this morning and did a good job staying out of trouble on the crowded sidewalk.

We watched the runners on the concrete block near the bridge and brought the cow bell too.

We met up with Zoe and Auntie Eleen and the girls took some time to warm up again.

There’s Uncle Jimmy!

We also finished the morning with lunch at Hi-Dive before the Agustins headed home.

Yai made Sakoo Sai Moo for Mama today. It’s one of her favorite things to eat. Janie tried it today for the first time and was a complete fan.

Who wouldn’t love tapioca filled with a sweet and savory meat filling covered in garlic oil?

Anyway, she had her fair share this afternoon and loved the lettuce and cilantro too.

This morning, Janie woke up and came into our bedroom with her pajama top missing. I guess it was a little too warm in the house last night.

Then she climbed into bed with us and we took a couple silly pictures together.

For dinner, we walked down to the Ferry Building and had dinner at Hog Island Oyster Co.

While we waited for a table, Janie had fun getting her picture taken and taking pictures with Mama’s phone. It’s fun to see her perspective of the world.

Before the food arrived, she colored one of her pictures. It looks like her interest in coloring has returned.

She had a good dinner of oysters, clams, bread, and soup. Cheers, Dada!

She really loves clams, mussels, and oysters.

This is her satisfied look when we were all done.
