I love this happy little eater. She’s still saying “mummum” when she wants more but today it looked like she was signing “more” too. Or maybe she was just clapping. Hm…whatever it is – it’s still better than screaming.
She did this a while back over Christmas and we quickly extinguished it. However, it has made a comeback this month on its own and she usually does it when she’s eating. It usually looks like she’s flirting and I actually think it’s pretty cute. However, she went a little overboard tonight and it looked like it made her a little cross-eyed on the last couple times.
Here’s another one from this morning. With the yogurt all over her face she looks like a bunny rabbit.
Now with Janie around, Koa’s been playing second fiddle in the family lately. Poor Koa. Janie has a weird sense of humor…well, I guess WE have a weird sense of humor.
Love hearing her giggle. She’s also been squealing quite a bit too.

Auntie Jia’s back from China and Janie had a really fun time playing with her today.
Janie spent some time with Ta tonight on FaceTime.
She got a kick out of playing Peek-a-Boo with him too. Ah technology…it’s amazing sometimes.

We made it to the half-way point to one year today! Janie is 26 weeks old! Hooray!!
This week, she got her second tooth (on Wed 10/17) and also started eating solids for the first time. Her first food was sweet potato and I think she enjoys the whole process of eating, playing with the food, and chewing on the spoon. She’s sitting up nice and tall now and was trying her best to roll from back to front today but hasn’t quite mastered it.
She can get around to her side and throws her top leg and arm over but then gets stuck. It’s ok…it’ll happen soon enough.
