Janie went to the aquarium this afternoon and wanted to touch the fish.
Floating
Janie played in the pool this afternoon. She needed a little time to get used to it but once she learned to splash and kick it was all good.

Unfortunately, Janie is a ball of energy and napped only 40 mins. Sheesh.
Celebrating Auntie
We celebrated Auntie Jia’s birthday tonight at House of Prime Rib.
Janie hung out with Auntie before the food arrived and took some sips of water with her.
Then we sat in her highchair and had her dinner. She got a taste of cornbread and Daddy’s baked potato tonight.
She was also interested in the dessert menu that evening. Looks like she chose the pecan pie for us and it was delicious. All the grown-ups ate it on her behalf. 😉

The Apricot Tree
On our drive back to SF, we stopped at The Apricot Tree Restaurant for dinner. Janie helped Auntie Jia decide what to order.
She also picked out her victims and mean-mugged them for a good 10 minutes. She wouldn’t take her eyes off that table of nice ladies. Funny baby!

At dinner tonight, Janie started imitating Auntie Jia. I thought it was pretty funny but Daddy thought it made her look like she was having a seizure or something. Luckily I got a video of it before we extinguished it. It was fun while it lasted.

Four Generations
On Christmas morning, we went to visit Janie’s Great Grandma.
Janie hung out with her while during lunch.
It was nice to see all four generations together.
