Janie had a good time hanging out with Ankong and Ama today.
They’re teaching her how to count to 5 with her fingers.
Birthday Banquet
Ankong and Ama threw a banquet for Janie’s birthday and she LOVED her noodles.

She also got a second birthday cake but it was getting late when it came time to sing to her.
It was way past her bedtime and she was NOT in the mood to taste any kind of cake at the moment.
After a little downtime, she got her second wind long enough for some family photos.

Baby Luau
We had a baby luau to celebrate Janie’s 1st birthday today. Here she is with her Nemo cake.
She wore the Hawaiian dress that Uncle Johnny and Auntie Joy bought for her from Maui and she looked so cute with the flower in her hair too.
The whole family came over to Yai’s house and everyone got a lei and tasty Hawaiian food.

Four Generations
On Christmas morning, we went to visit Janie’s Great Grandma.
Janie hung out with her while during lunch.
It was nice to see all four generations together.

Janie saw Ankong and Ama today after church. “Here’s a Cutie from a cutie!”
Grandpa & Me
Janie wore her “Grandpa & Me” shirt today since we were celebrating Ankong’s birthday tonight.
We had a mango cake after dinner and Ankong let her touch the fruit on the cake.

Twins
Today we went to lunch with the family. We met up with Daddy’s cousin Victor and his family.
Apparently, twins run in Daddy’s side of the family since cousin Victor has identical twin boys (pictured above) and his other cousin Faye (in Southern CA) has identical twin girls.
Here’s Janie with her second cousins Justin and Alex. Cute! They’re 15 months (adjusted age) and she’s just about the same size as them. Actually, I think she weighs more (!) than each of them at half their age.
