3rd Grade Packet Pick-up

Today, it was Janie’s turn to drive by the front of the school to pick up her school supplies. It was a big bag of books, worksheets, and school supplies. We also borrowed a Chromebook for the school year.

She wore a cute dress and fixed her hair because they also did a drive-by school photo. Our baby girl is gonna be a 3rd-grader!!
Afternoon Walk

The kids went for a walk to the ferry with Mama this evening. They’ve been away from Alameda for so long that they actually enjoyed it.

It’s nice to live so close to the water.
Paw Patrol Desk

Auntie Jia had bought this desk for Peanut a while ago and it had been sitting in a box until now. He’s at the right age and it’s the perfect time to put it together and get some use out of it. With remote learning ahead of us, he needs a workspace for school and we tried it out today.

The kids kept up with their summer workbooks too.

Here is a drawing of a rocket ship. At first, I thought it was a shark. 🙂

Haircut

Mama gave Peanut a little need-to-see-your-ears haircut today.
Home Sweet Home

We arrived pretty early in the afternoon. When we walked in, Peanut said “I remember this place.”

The Octonauts made a comeback and the kids continued to play online with Alice in Animal Crossing.

Heading Home

The kids (and Dada) have been in Southern California since June and now it’s time to say goodbye and head back up to Alameda.

The minivan was filled to the brim with all their stuff including their bikes and other random things that Dada bought this summer. They had so much fun at Camp Magical House.
One more day…

It’s the last full day in Southern California for the kids. They spent art of the day at the pool again. Look at these two twinsies!

Had dinner with Ankong and Ama and got a group photo! Everyone is smiling!
