Watch us grow!

On our drive home, we stopped at the outlets and the girls sat together in the mushroom ride while their dads shopped.

We got late check-out today so there was time for one more dip in the pool.

Peanut loved snoozing on the lounge chair with Mama.

We all went out to Morimoto for a fancy dinner tonight. On the walk over, Maya and Peanut fell asleep. While we waited for our table, the two babies napped side-by-side in Uncle Jimmy’s double stroller.

Janie also fell asleep when we arrived at the restaurant.

She woke up long enough to have some sashimi and the soup we ordered for her.

Peanut also hung out in our laps for most of dinner and was a good boy.

For dessert, we took all the kids to Gott’s for ice cream. Yay! Janie and Zoe also stayed up late to hang out with the grown-ups at the hotel lobby afterward.

The Napa house had a swimming pool and that’s where Janie spent the rest of her morning. It was almost 100 degrees outside so it was a great way to cool off.

She wore her new floating vest and held Dada’s thumbs and kicked her legs.

Peanut hung out with Mama under the cabana and slept. Ah…

Janie has a San Francisco house, Hawaii house, Monterey house and now a Napa house! She loved how the sofa turned into her bed. She looked so comfy and fell asleep very easily after a hot and activity-filled day.

Janie and Peanut went to Zoe’s 3rd birthday party today.

It was at a sensory gym that had lots of swings and a huge trampoline.

They served pizza and fruit and Janie sat next to the birthday girl at the table.

Peanut slept for part of the time and then had 3 poopy diapers including a blow-out with outfit change on the last one.

Peanut had a relaxing day at home today. He hung out in his favorite spot, Mama’s shoulder, while Mama stood at the window watching Janie swim.

He also hung out on Mama’s bed and looked out the window too.

Each morning when Janie gets dropped off at school, she makes a request for who she wants to pick her up in the afternoon. Today, she told Yai that she wanted Mama, Dada, and Peanut to pick her up – the whole family. We can’t always fulfill her requests but today we did. She was so happy to see us and chuckled a bit when she saw Peanut in the stroller too.

Before heading home, she gathered her artwork with her teacher and gave them both hugs.

This evening’s walk home involved the use of both our strollers at the same time.

On the way home, we stopped for a snack at a local cafe and she got to finish what was packed in her lunchbag.

She sat on Dada’s lap since it was too hard to reach the table from the bench.

Peanut also got to eat and then stayed awake for a while.

Our last stop was the local pizza place to pick up dinner. While we waited for our order, Janie tried to feed Mama some of the scraps of paper that she had made at school.

Silly girl.

This is how we brought the pizza home tonight. Thanks, Peanut!

Peanut spent the morning at Henry and Auntie Teresa’s house while Mama was doing something for work. He played on the floor with Henry for a bit and then fell asleep.

He napped in Henry’s crib for a bit before waking up hungry. He was such a good boy for Auntie Teresa and Mama was back by lunch.
