Hello Dada a video by beakatude on Flickr.
We went to dinner early and waited for Dada to show up. Janie had a sweet greeting for Dada today when he arrived.
She also sat in a grown-up chair for most of dinner and got her very own water cup.
Watch us grow!

We had Mommy and Me brunch this morning at La Boulange Bakery. Janie had a tasty beet salad, quiche, and cauliflower tart.
A little bird came by to eat her crumbs and it was very reminiscent of the good ol’ days with Koa at her feet.
We had a lovely time sharing brunch in the patio and watching the buses go by.
After a quick trip to Target next door, we went across the street to play at Yerba Buena Playground.
She enjoyed going up the stairs and down the big slides with Mommy.
She was almost ready to go down by herself. Maybe next time.
Looks like Janie found her pockets today. She looks like such a big girl today.
Smooch!
Smile!
Sunday was a day spent on the water. In the morning, Janie had breakfast with Mommy on the deck.
She took full advantage of the all-you-can-eat option on the ship.
Ankong showed her around the pool area. Too bad it was too cold for a dip in the water.
The afternoon was spent chilling by the window. Daddy read his book while Janie watched a Baby Einstein video.
Here she is hanging out by the window.
She also got to wander around the shopping/entertainment area.
Oooo…water…
Auntie Jia took this photo today.
We’re on our way down to SoCal for the holidays and Janie had a good time stretching her legs at the Starbucks just before The Grapevine. How do ya like the Selfie she took?
Janie chatted with Yai and Ta this evening and she’s now more consistent with greeting them with a proper wai (the traditional Thai greeting/bow that you give to your elders). She also had an unusually large tummy this evening that she had to show off to them.
These two have really warmed up to each other. Janie and Alice had to cool off after a long walk outside in the sun so they were comparing tummies.
Later that afternoon, while Alice was getting her milk, Janie came by to watch.
She was so curious and was eager to share her milk with the baby.
