We put on the tray attachment to Janie’s stroller this morning and tried it out at the Farmers’ Market. Janie’s a tad too little to actually use it for snack time but she’ll grow into it soon enough.
Watch us grow!

Today was Mirian’s first day back and left Janie a present from her daughter Karla who also went to Disneyland on Christmas Eve! Thank you to Mirian and Karla for the cool cup!!
The doctor told us we could feed Janie egg yolk but I waited until now to do it. She had a little taste of steamed egg last week so I scrambled some egg yolk for her and she LOVED it.

Janie rang in the new year with her pal Koa. We all went to Uncle Jason and Auntie Jia’s house for dinner and a sleepover.
She also had her first taste of cheese and LOVED it. She also had to bat Koa out of the way to get to it since they were both begging for cheese that night. Click here if you can’t see the video above.
Kumquat likes to drink ice water from a glass but it takes a little getting used to.

We celebrated Janie’s First Christmas this week and she got lots of goodies from her friends and family.

On Christmas Eve morning, she ripped into a couple presents and got a cool case for her iPod Touch, a soothing giraffe, and lots of cute clothes.

On Christmas Day, Janie sat at the dinner table with everyone and had her puffs and green beans too.

She got lots more presents on Christmas Day.

She wasn’t feeling very well that day but still opened presents with Mommy before heading to bed.

We went to Whole Foods this evening and picked up a box of these maple teething biscuits. Initially, Janie just held it in her hand and inspected it for a good minute and then finally took a taste.

She enjoyed mouthing and gnawing on it and letting it get all mushy and messy. By the end, it was everywhere.
We went to Auntie and Uncle’s house tonight and Janie was extra thirsty. She looked like a little lamb being fed by her farmer in this photo.
