Janie and Mommy take trips to the Farmer’s Market almost every Saturday to pick up fruits and veggies. Today we had breakfast outside together.

Janie also met a famous chef, Chris Cosentino, this morning. She wasn’t so sure of him. I think she was worried that he was going to steal her puffs.

Janie turned 38 weeks old today! This week she had to fight a runny nose and cough but she’s all better now and back to her old self. She also had her first taste of fish and rice and loved them…as expected.

She’s not crawling yet but tried to pull up onto her knees. As a result, we lowered her pack n play.

When Janie sits in her feeder seat, she likes to put her feet up under the tray.

Janie tried mahi mahi for the first time last night and then had a full serving tonight. I think she likes it and she’ll be ready for her second visit to Hawaii in no time!

This is what a runny nose looks like just in case you were wondering.

This is what a runny nose and a face full of broccoli and carrots look like together. Yum.

Janie’s eating little pieces of cheese now. It’s amazing how she’s figured out how to chew it without molars!

And look at her grasp! Janie knows how to make her OT mommy proud!

Janie came along for all our errands, which meant lots of rides in the shopping cart. She seems to really enjoy it.

This is Janie at Costco last night trying to steal a taste of Mommy’s lemonade.

Here she is at Trader Joe’s going for lazy mode setting on the shopping cart seat.

And here she is at Home Depot. She’s not so sure what her mom and dad are up to today.

Janie tried to steal some of Mommy’s lunch today and got her first taste of rice. Yum!
