We took a trip to Costco on the way to Auntie Amy’s house.
Peanut had a good time staring at his hand.
He was in a really good mood too.
Wedding Banquet
We all went to the wedding banquet this evening and Janie grubbed on jellyfish, pork, lobster, and shrimp.
Ankong went all the way down to the supermarket to buy Janie some milk in the middle of dinner. So nice!!
Janie joined the girls during the bouquet toss and also danced around with Amelia.
Then it quickly turned into a game of chase.

Janie also did some twirling and dancing with Dada.
Peanut had trouble sleeping through all the loud music so he just hung out with GAuntie Cheryl.
Granville Island
We went to Granville Island for lunch today. We found a toy store that had a Janie-sized door!
Janie got a new watch that has fish on it!
At the Public Market, we saw all kinds of tasty things to eat.
Janie got a special treat that she picked out herself – a flower cookie!!
It’s so pretty out here in Vancouver!!
all dressed up
We went to Uncle Eric’s wedding today and everyone got dressed up for the occasion.
There was a kid’s section in the church and Janie made a little drawing there.
Janie looked so pretty in her fancy dress. Thanks for the dress, Auntie Terry!!
We also love the fall colors here!!
Little Man
Peanut is all dressed for the wedding in his sweater vest! He looks like a little man today.
boba outing
We had a little time to kill before the wedding so Janie and Peanut went for a walk down the street to pick up boba for Auntie Jia. Just outside of the store, Janie practiced her jumping and went from circle to circle.
Here we are at the store waiting for our drinks. It was chilly outside so Peanut finally got to wear his bear beanie. Thanks, Auntie Teresa!
Janie got her first taste of a lychee slushy drink today and said, “oooo, it’s cold!”

Morning at the Hotel
Janie slept well last night and relaxed in bed with Dada.
We had breakfast in the lounge again and Janie played with Uncle Jason.
After eating, we all went back to the hotel room where the kids relaxed on the bed and watched some cartoons. We really are on vacation!
mall and ice cream
This evening, we walked to Metropolis at Metrotown. It’s a giant mall with lots of riding machines. Janie loved the car and drove Auntie Jia.
When we got back, she enjoyed some chocolate ice cream before getting ready for bed.
Ice cream tastes better when you’re wearing Daddy’s shoes.
Vancouver Aquarium
After lunch, we went to the Vancouver Aquarium with the whole family.
This aquarium has dolphins and Janie got to see some jump and dive.
There was so much to see and Janie darted from one exhibit to another at record pace.
Peanut woke up and got to see some jellyfish and tropical fish. He also met GAunt Jeanie for the first time.
It was harder for him to see the beluga whale but he enjoyed snuggles from Mama while watching big sister running around like a crazy person.
Speaking of big sister, Janie was having a blast with her new friend Amelia.
They ran up and down the ramp and stairs, held hands, and shared snacks together. When they were doing laps on the ramp and stairs, one would say, “again?!” and the other would say, “yes yes yes!!”
They were so cute together!!
