It’s just another morning on her tummy!
No pillow!!
Until now, Janie has been spending Tummy Time at an incline. This morning she didn’t need the pillow anymore! She can lift her head from a flat surface now!

Inchworm
Janie likes to creep up on Daddy while he’s reading. She uses her arms to hold her head up and her legs kick at the same time. Makes her look like an inchworm on the go.
Eyebrows
Her head and cheeks are getting bigger and heavier but she’s still able to keep up with them during Tummy Time. And look who has eyebrows now! They were really light when she was born but now you can really see them.
Out the Window
Tummy Time was spent by the big window today. We think she may be able to see a little more now because she likes to stare in the direction of the windows in the house nowadays.
Tummy Time on Daddy
This morning, Janie spent her morning Tummy Time propped up on Daddy’s tummy. She tolerated the activity a little longer than usual despite having the hiccups and got her head up pretty high several times. I think it’s so funny and cute when she works so hard that her eyes cross. She looks like a turtle when she has to concentrate that hard. It’s also funny that she likes to nom-nom on her sleeves during break time. Click here if you can’t see the video above.
Determined
Janie’s working out every morning during Tummy Time and she’s getting stronger! I love the big look of determination in the first photo and then a look of accomplishment in the second. Good job, Baby Girl!!!
Happy 3 weeks!
2 Weeks Old
Janie turned 2 weeks old today! She’s gotten longer, heavier, and even cuter! She’s been napping for longer stretches and eating like a champ, which probably means she’s in the middle of a growth spurt.
I took some photos of her up-close today to record this day. Happy Two Weeks, Baby Girl!
10 days old
We had a fun time just hanging out this morning.
She also didn’t mind Tummy Time this morning.
She’s 10 days old now and smiling more.
