Fun with her Nanny
Today I took the day off to take Janie to the doctor in the afternoon. Since we still have to pay Mirian for the day, I made arrangements for her to come in the morning to help me out. It was great to have 3 straight uninterrupted hours to do 3 loads of laundry, clean the kitchen, and put things away. In the meantime, I got the chance to see Mirian in action and she’s great. Janie really enjoys her company and stays pretty busy.
After her 11:00 am bottle, they went down to the Clubroom to play and I got a text from Mirian with a photo of Janie playing on her tummy. The text said, “she happy”. By the time they got back, it was 11:55 and time for her noon nap. Little Janie was asleep within minutes of being placed in her bed. Awesome.
Push-ups
Little Janie is pushing up on her hands now. If only she could just start rolling…
Coach Koa
This morning I placed Janie down on the blanket like we always do for her morning workout and Koa decided to join us this time. After a couple sniffs, he sat down next to us and watched Janie on her tummy playing with her toys.
I was teaching her how to roll all morning but Janie just hasn’t gotten it yet. At one point, Coach Koa came over and showed her how it’s done. He usually hates rolling onto his back but I guess this was an exception. I knew they’d be buddies sooner or later!
Tummy Time
Janie wore this onesie during her morning workout. Auntie Sara made this for her at the baby shower. It’s perfect!
