The babies had tummy time together and “shared” some toys. It was like watching puppies play together.
propping on hands
He’s pushing up on his hands now! For a guy who hates tummy time, he’s making some nice gains.
medical clinic
This morning, GoGo, Otter, and Little Guy lined up for their check-ups with Dr. Janie.
Peanut was very interested in everything she was doing and saying this morning.
4 months
Look who’s 4 months old today! We love how social he is but it’s also made it frustrating at times since he doesn’t like to be left alone.
This month has been full of smiles and giggles. He’s also trying so hard to sit up and we’ve played around with propping him up with pillows. He also started sitting in the feeder seat during mealtimes for short periods of time. We’re also seeing the start of some rolling from his back to his tummy but he’s got a big tummy to move so it’s not quite there yet.
Playing on his tummy is getting easier but it’s still not his favorite. On his back, he’s been interacting more with the toys hanging over him and will bring toys to his mouth if he can get a hold of them.
We started celebrating the holidays at Light-up Night and with family on Thanksgiving weekend.
Happy 4 months, Little Man! We’re looking forward to seeing what you’re gonna do next!
Belated Thanksgiving
Uncle Jason and Auntie Jia returned from Seattle yesterday so we postponed Thanksgiving dinner to today. They came over and the kids all played on the floor together while Dada was making the turkey.
Janie made the crescent rolls on her own today and helped herself to one while dinner was getting finished up. The chef has to taste her food, right?!
I think Peanut wanted one too.
All the kids sat at the table today in celebration of the babies’ first Thanksgiving. Toni and Thomas brought their feeder seats and had avocado!! Yum.
Happy Belated Thanksgiving!
Dinner with the Family
The cousins came over this afternoon and the babies had Tummy Time together.
Why does Peanut look so huge?! Oh wait, because HE IS!
We also went out for an early dinner in Chinatown. At the end of the meal, the twins were getting their bottles, Janie got a story with Dada, Uncle Jason checked his email, and Peanut played with his blanket.
Good times…
reading to brother
While Peanut was on his tummy, Janie read to him. This definitely caught his interest and made Tummy Time a little less unpleasant for him.
picnic
Janie had a picnic with her friends this afternoon. Apparently Olaf needed some attention.
She later moved the picnic closer to where Peanut was having Tummy Time so that he could watch. This photo is very reminiscent of an old photo of Mama and Uncle Johnny.
I love watching these two kids together.
Hi.
busy baby
Peanut talked to Yai on FaceTime during Tummy Time today.
He also rode in the big stroller in the afternoon. He was all bundled up for his nap and then woke up all wide-eyed and happy.
