Peanut is 39 weeks old today! It’s nearly impossible to get a photo of him sitting still nowadays.

Mirian likes to report when Peanut is having a particularly happy day. Today was one of them.
This little boy is full of personality and has some new moves lately. He likes to flirt by tilting his head during snack time.
He’s also pulling to stand out at the playground.
He may be cruising soon at this rate.
This morning, Peanut pulled himself up to a standing position for the first time.
He looked so satisfied and proud of himself.
It’s crazy how quickly he’s learning new skills. It feels like he masters something new every Saturday.

Today we went to the Cal Academy and met up with Rowan and Isla. We arrived first and hung out around the shark pool.
Peanut sat on the window that his big sister used to be so scared of. He watched the sharks and rays swim below him with such delight.
He also liked “standing” along the rails to see them swim by.
At the craft table, Janie made a Mars rover.

She also took a photo of her rover (above) and a photo of Mama posing with her rover (below). She’s getting pretty good with the camera.
During our snack, Peanut got to sit on the grass and I realized it was his first time touching grass.
He certainly didn’t mind it and seemed quite fascinated by it too.
Then we headed down to the aquarium where the kids had the most fun together.
They even posed for a photo together!
Before heading home, we walked down to the ice cream truck for a treat.
These kids had such a good time.
Peanut also woke up from his nap in time to enjoy the fresh air.

At Uncle and Auntie’s house, we briefly hung out while the movers were packing up their stuff. Peanut got to try out their jumparoo and had a good time. He was jumping and doing a little jig at the same time.

Just minutes later, we found him looking a little drowsy and then eventually falling asleep as he was jumping. It’s funny how he falls asleep and then wakes up to bounce and then falls back asleep from the movement. We all got a little chuckle.
At that point, Mama picked him up and he transferred to the car seat for a nice long nap.
Since this little guy loves to be upright on his feet, Dada bought him a jumparoo and it arrived this afternoon. Mama put it together in a jiffy and he was loving it.

Hopefully it’ll buy Mama a few more minutes everyday.
Janie was treated to a Muni ride out of her stroller today.
She sat quietly next to Daddy and watched everything go by. When we got out of the tunnel, Daddy let her stand up so she could have a better view.
This is when wearing overalls comes in handy.
