Stopping at Costco

We drove home from Tahoe today but made a stop at Costco first!

We had to stock up on our usual groceries and the kids did great.

They like to sit next to each other and will give each other snuggles every once in a while.

Daddy also wanted to pick up a brand new TV (just in time for Super Bowl tonight), which was on his list of “things to buy” once we moved to our new house. Well, it’s been almost 11 months since we moved in so I guess he’s waited long enough. Also, it’s been about 11 years since we purchased our last TV.

Having the minivan really came in handy today. It fit perfectly between the two carseats.

This afternoon, Mama picked up Janie early from school to take Peanut to swim class. After the class, we went to the tea shop for some smoothies.

Then we headed over to the ferry terminal to pick up Dada. The sun was setting and the kids had fun running around as we waited.

For dinner, we went to have Korean food and Janie worked on her math workbook while we waited for the food.

On our last stop, the kids had some good snuggles while Dada did some shopping.

Pumpkins

Janie got to carve pumpkins today for the first time. She drew her own face and then Mama carved it out.

She helped take the seeds and pulp out and got a little grossed out.
