This morning, we put this sweater on her and it actually kind of fits now! When we initially brought her home on Day 2, she was swimming in it. My my, how you’ve grown!! Happy One Month, Kaylee Jane!! We love you!!
Bath Time!
Yai gave Janie a bath today. She only cried a little at the beginning this time.
Here she is all happy in her hoodie towel. Yippee! All clean!
Out the Window
Tummy Time was spent by the big window today. We think she may be able to see a little more now because she likes to stare in the direction of the windows in the house nowadays.
Awake
I went for a 3-mile walk with Janie and Koa today. I expected Janie to get a good hour-long nap during our outing (as she usually does) but when I uncovered the stroller, I found a wide-eyed baby girl just enjoying the ride. She managed to stay awake for the entire outing.
Expressions
Her expressions are quick but so cute. Luckily, my camera was able to keep up with her.

Determined
Janie’s working out every morning during Tummy Time and she’s getting stronger! I love the big look of determination in the first photo and then a look of accomplishment in the second. Good job, Baby Girl!!!
Happy 3 weeks!
Movement
Janie loves movement. If she’s awake, she will hang out in your arms if you’re sitting in a chair but just for a couple minutes. What she prefers is to be in your arms while you’re walking around or doing the famous Monkey Dance that Daddy does so well. So this morning, she was placed into the infant carrier and got some movement while Mommy got to take care of things around the house.
I think she enjoyed it. This may be how we’ll spend part of the day at home. She gets her stimulation while Mommy gets to rest her arms a bit.
Wide Awake
A certain baby did not want to go back to sleep this morning.
