Peanut came home from school and made what he called a “double-decker super snow plower”.

It’s Monday and school is open for Peanut. The class was smaller than usual since lots of people are still on vacation but he he still had a good time. They read “Pete the Cat: Snow Daze” and then drew a picture of their favorite part of the book.

At the bottom, it says “My favorite part was when Pete drove the snow plow.”

The kids are back home and had fun playing with their toys again after being away all week.

We also made some Rice Krispies Treats this evening!

It’s time to say goodbye and drive back to Alameda today. The girls always have a hard time with this.

We had so much fun this past week and can’t wait to see everyone again!

We got home at a decent time and even saw some snow on the Grapevine!

We usually go to Disneyland for Christmas Eve but agreed to take a break this year. Instead, we spent an afternoon at Downtown Disney.

Ankong and Ama took all four kids to an indoor playground today! It looked like so much fun!

They also went out for a pasta lunch and ice cream afterward!

These are some pretty lucky kids!

Merry Christmas!! We all dressed up in matching pajamas this year!

Cousins came over early in the morning to exchange/open gifts!

Then we headed over to Toni and Thomas’ house to start the standing rib roast and make s’mores outside in the patio.

Janie helped out by peeling all the potatoes. Ankong helped keep the trashcan lid open.

It was fun watching all the kids play together.

All the kids got a new toy called a Springling. All had a different animal that comes with a spring-loaded container. They got really creative with how they played with them.

We had lunch with Dada’s cousins and family this time.

Janie spent the night at Alice’s house last night and woke up early (as usual). Uncle Johnny went out to get them bagels for breakfast.

In the meantime, Peanut went to Toni and Thomas’ house to play. It’s great having so much family around!

We had our annual Christmas get-together with Mama’s cousins and their kids. This year we made arrangements to buy $10 gift cards and each kid got to choose two.
