This is the new normal for us. No longer are we spending all day going from one activity to another. In fact, the kids have not been in the car much these past two weeks. Today, we cooked, we played games, and we cleaned. The kids love being home and not having to go to swim, kung fu, and soccer all day. Let’s see how much longer before they get bored.

There are new rules at Kung Fu – no hand-to-hand contact, no equipment, just practicing routines. When we arrived this morning, Peanut was only one of two kids in his class. Janie had about 5 in hers. What a strange time this is…

The kids did a little painting today. Peanut dressed up for the occasion with his unicorn headband. Haha.

One of Peanut’s favorite pastimes lately is watching the washing machine do its thing while eating a banana. Funny guy…

Peanut had a full day at school with his pal Ethan and then they met up after getting picked up.

It’s Friday! This is a cute group photo of Peanut and his friends.

He also had some quiet time with a book outside.

There used to be a giant tree in front of Peanut’s school but the roots were destroying the parking lot. So, it was cut down today and the kids were sad to see it so empty. We took a photo of the kids standing on the stump that was left.
