Dada said he would be home late so Janie went out for dinner with Mommy. She loved the beans and even said “black beans” all on her own.
We also watched a little basketball while we were there.

Silly girl also thought it was fun to plug her ears.
Dada arrived eventually and we hung out a bit longer so he could get a bite to eat too.
What a treat! We walked across the street to pick up some pizza and then Janie got to enjoy her very own slice!
This girl loves soup and loves playing with spoons. So this has to be one of her favorite things to do right now. It just makes me happy to see her having a good meal and also hearing her put two words together on her own.
What a funny girl. She started walking this way this afternoon when she was retrieving the balloon.
She loves balloons. We should get them for her more often.
Janie is ready for her day! Mirian dressed her in the striped dress that Yai bought for her the last time she was in town.
This girl definitely has a silly side.
Apparently peek-a-boo is still a fun game too.
We spent the morning shopping for groceries so Janie got two shopping cart rides. First stop was Costco for some fruit, milk, and meat.
Next was lunch at the usual food truck place. For lunch, she had a combination of Mommy’s Korean food, veggies from home, and Daddy’s pizza.
Our last stop was Trader Joe’s where there’s always fun stuff to look at. In line, she was being super silly and also scored a strip of stickers again from the nice checkstand guy.
This is a funny picture that I didn’t realize I took until I looked on my phone. She must be saying, “This carrot stick is A-OK!”
Janie had part of her breakfast in the livingroom where Mommy was watching the Olympics.
She was actually pretty excited about the ice dancing and cheering for them.
This afternoon, Janie used the laundry basket as a clubhouse. It’s the perfect height for her to sit inside.
In the evening, I found her inside the basket again after I had put it away.
She pulled it out of the bedroom and set up a tea party inside.
Janie was wandering the house on her cow as usual when she came out of the bedroom with my hat. This is what happened next.
