There’s something about this photo that makes Peanut look slim and trim suddenly!

Janie had Mama and Yai drop her off this morning.

She seems to be settling in nicely. That little boy at the table is her pal Sota from the Alligator class.

In the afternoon, Mama picked her up and she was playing in the garden with her new friend. When it was time to go home, Janie pretended to be asleep so she wouldn’t have to go.

What a little joker…

Dada left for Singapore last night and Yai arrived this morning. We went out for lunch and the kids had a fun time catching up.

Peanut had his cool shoes on this morning and got to enjoy the Ferry Plaza on foot for a bit.

He was delighted to be out of the stroller with his sister.

This is our sad attempt at a family photo by the Bay Bridge. Apparently, the kids weren’t in a picture-taking mood at the time.

This boy loves to take baths.

He likes to splash in the water and this is the expression he makes after getting his face wet.

This afteroon, we had an early dinner at Momo’s. They have a pretty good happy hour with $1 oysters and $5 pizza!

This guy is really into blowing raspberries lately.

This little early bird had Mama up by 6am today. So, we went on a little adventure around the neighborhood.

First stop was Philz Coffee and then a walk along the canal.

Next to the canal is the new Mission Bay Children’s Playground where we had the whole playground to himself.

Then we headed home for a bath and quiet play time before everyone was up.

Surprisingly, everyone got to sleep in until 8am. Peanut got up and then Janie came in to join us in bed.

We all snuggled up for a couple family selfies. Say “seaweeeeed!”

Then it was time to get out of bed because this guy was getting out of hand. Rawr!!

And this is his raspberry face!

We had Janie’s end-of-the-year Parent-Teacher Conference today. Miss Denise had lots of nice things to say and that Janie was ready to move on to the Whale Class. In fact, we got notice that she is slated to start August 1st!

After the conference, we went to Waterbar for a snack.

As we waited for our server, Janie perused the wine list and Mama taught her how to use a Table of Contents. We played a game where she would find the page that a certain “chapter” started. She was also able to read the words “beer” and “red”. She was very excited about that. All the other words were a too complicated (i.e. sauvignon blanc).

The oysters were yummy today!

Meanwhile, Peanut snacked on melon that Mama brought. Janie took this photo.

In addition to what we orderd, she also finished off a pack of gummies that she opened after school. She thought ti was hilarious that her tongue was blue.

Happy Friday, Everyone!!
