On our way home after visiting some Open Houses in Alameda, Janie said she wanted rice, pork, and soup for dinner. So, we went to Chinatown and had dinner at Washington Bakery (one of our favorite places!)

We had noodles, rice porridge with pork, and wonton soup – all the things she wanted.

The server also brought a bowl and spoon for Peanut, which he enjoyed playing with once he was done eating.

Janie also asked for hot soy milk and said “I’m good at drinking from this cup like Captain Barnacles!”

Museum Friday

On Fridays, Peanut goes to the Creativity Museum. Today, he looked like such a big boy in these photos.

He even got to ride a horse on the carousel! Fun!!

Costco Lunch

For lunch today, we went to Costco. Dada had to buy some chicken and we all needed to eat something.

Janie shared her pizza crust with Peanut and everyone was happy.

Then it was time to shop and the kids continued to snack. This is how we keep them entertained and well-mannered during a chaotic and crowded Sunday afternoon at Costco.

Jazzy Lunch

For lunch, we went out for fried chicken and there was a Jazz Band playing some lively tunes for the restaurant. The kids grubbed on chicken and waffles and while listening to the music.

We went around the city in search of a demo jogging stroller today. We stopped at REI and two Sports Basements before finding what we were looking for.

Janie had a fun time trying on sunglasses.

Peanut tried one on too…for about one second.

We put Janie in the stroller to test out the fit and weight with a full-sized kid inside.

Meanwhile Peanut was doing some exploring on his own.

Then his big sister joined in on the fun.

Awww…hug.

After the “shopping” was done, we drove down to Millbrae to have dinner with Uncle Bang. We stopped at the car wash on the way since the kids were napping.
