Before lunch, we stopped at Home Depot. Peanut fell asleep so we waited in the car while Dada shopped.

For lunch, we had dim sum in El Cerrito. Peanut got red-handed stealing milk out of the cooler.

Watch us grow!

We picked up Dada at the ferry terminal tonight and the kids did a great job eating snack while we waited in the parking lot.

While Mama went out with the neighborhood moms, Dada took the kids to Chipotle as part of a fundraiser for Peanut’s school. They finished a kids meal together and did a pretty good job at the restaurant.

Peanut gobbled up an entire peach on his own this morning for breakfast.

Once we got back to Alameda, the kids were treated to a lunch at Chipotle. They shared a kids meal and Peanut did a great job staying on the bench next to his big sister.

Then we took the long way back to the car and walked past their favorite statue of the deer and fawn.

Peanut thought it would be funny to ride the fawn. Look at his face.

We drove across the Bay Bridge this afternoon for lunch at the Ferry Plaza.

Janie had a fun time looking out the window from her seat in the minivan. It’s higher up so she could actually see the ferry boats and the clock tower.

We had lunch at Hog Island Oyster Company.

Janie got some tasty oysters and Peanut had a plateful of grilled squid.

It was so fun hanging out in our old neighborhood!!

After school, Mama and Peanut picked up Dada and Janie at the ferry station.

Janie was very excited to see us.

We also went to Costco to pick up a new mattress for Janie’s room. Yai is coming tomorrow!!

For the most part, the kids get along when they sit in the cart together. This evening, they were particularly giggly with each other.

This afternoon we went to the Southshore Shopping Center. Janie insisted we stop at one of her favorite stores – Daiso!

The kids cooled off under an umbrella with their snacks after doing some intense shopping at 4 different stores.

Back at home, they spent some time out in the garden together where they shared snacks.

They eventually moved to the doorway where it was cooler.

Before bed, they had a fun time together in the bathtub. I hope they have this much fun together as they grow up.
Once he was picked up from school, Mama parked the car at home, and buckled Peanut into the stroller. It was time for an adventure from Alameda to SF!!

We walked to the bus stop by our house and got picked up by the 21 Bus.

Then we got off at the Oakland Airport and went up to the AirBART station.

We hitched a free ride on AirBART, which was a fun tram ride to Oakland Colliseum BART Station. We had no idea it was free in that direction!!

Peanut got a front-seat view of where we were going and had fun hanging onto the rail like a big boy.

Once at the BART Station, we had a view of the Oracle Arena (where the Warriors play) and Oakland Coliseum (where the A’s and Raiders play ball).

Our last leg was a BART ride down the Transbay Tube and back up to Embarcadero Station. Peanut did a great job staying in his stroller and keeping the snack mess to a minimum.

This boy loves rice just like his Dada.
