Janie has the whole week off for Thanksgiving and was home with Mama today. When it was time to choose what to eat for lunch, she asked to go to Sidestreet Pho again. This silly girl really knows how to ham-it-up for the camera sometimes.

Letter BINGO
To work on letter recognition, Peanut plays BINGO with his buddies at school.
Kung Fu
This morning Sifu taught Janie’s class and really challenged her strength and balance. He tested out her horse stance by sitting on her lap and then having her hold it with beams over arms.
What a workout!
Here she is with her routine. She might be ready for her belt test soon.
After kung fu class, we stopped at the grocery store nearby and the kids had fun riding under the basket.
Good Morning
Somehow Janie and Mama switched sleeping places last night and Peanut was surprised to find Mama in the bed next to him.
So we had some snuggle time before going downstairs.
Before Janie woke up, Peanut also got to play with his trains.
Then once Janie woke up, they had waffles in front of the window together.
Home Depot Kids
We signed the kids up for the kids workshop at Home Depot. We skipped Kung Fu this morning so they could attend. They got to hammer and paint and made a helicopter!
They each got a work apron and a pin for today’s activity. So fun!
Halloween Parades
Dada worked from home today so he was able to drop by Janie’s school to bring her her costume and watch the Halloween parade at her school in the afternoon.
Immediately after, we all met up at Peanut’s school for his parade.

The kids came home and wanted to play restaurant again. Good thing we didn’t put it all away yet!

Before bed, the kids pulled out the blocks to do some building at the top of the stairs.
Janie made a castle.
Peanut made a city.
