This week’s letter is F!

Peanut also worked on counting and sorting blocks.

Janie had a busy day that started with a make-up swim class, then lunch, and then straight to a birthday party at the gymnastics center.

Her good buddy Jasper was also at the party and his mom caught this funny photo of them together.

At school, Peanut helped make smoothies with his classmates.

After Friday evening swim lessons, the kids chose pho for dinner.

It’s Day 3 of “make-up weekend” and the kids powered through their second day straight of kung fu.

Peanut also had a swim make-up and got a little loopy by the end of the day.

It’s Friday night, so we are at Aquatech for lessons and then Spin for pizza afterward.

It’s our last morning with the family and the kids were up early to play.

They set up an ice cream shop and took turns being the customer.

Then it was time to say goodbye and drive back down to Seattle to catch our flight. Peanut slept most of the way and Janie did some writing in her notebook.

We also drove past the Space Needle before returning our rental car.

The flight was quick and the kids did great on the plane.

Today, we took the bus to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park to do some exploring.

The kids enjoyed crossing the long bridge and exploring the treehouse too.

Janie finished the Rainforest Explorer assignments and earned a badge! Yay!

We also got a ride back to the hotel on their free bus shuttle, which was pretty fun too.

This morning, we found a place that serves waffles for breakfast. Yum!

Then we explored downtown for bit.

Peanut’s biggest request was to ride one of the city buses. So, that’s what we did.

We took the bus that stops at Stanley Park and the nice driver let us ride for free!! After looking at the map, Janie chose Beaver Lake as our destination. Luckily it wasn’t far and we found it in a jiffy!

We didn’t see any beavers today but there were plenty of ducks around.

It rained a bit while we were at the park but we made it back to the hotel before it started to snow!

The kids watched from our hotel room window and it was quite a sight to see.

The kids got these house slippers from Ta over Christmas and they still wear them around the house.

We went to Chinatown to buy some fresh fish for dinner tonight. It was pouring rain today and the kids had fun while we waited for a table for dim sum.

Peanut is also such a ham when it comes to taking pictures nowadays. Funny guy.
