Activities: Swimming, Tennis, Kung Fu, Chess, Drawing, Mandarin
What she’s into lately: Pokemon, monkey bars, card games, playing outside
Favorite Subject: Math
Accomplishments this past year: earned a yellow belt in Kung Fu, gave a speech in Mandarin, learned to swim across the pool on her own, reads chapter books like it’s no big deal, and mastered tying her own ponytail and tying shoelaces

She’s energetic, bright, sweet, funny, sneaky, helps Peanut get ready in the morning, still doesn’t like movies, prefers to eat dinner at home, and plays a mean game of Mancala.

Happy 7th Birthday, Baby Girl! We love you so much and continue to be amazed by you.

Day with the Cousins

After the cousin sleep-over, all the kids were up early the next morning.  Mama went to work and Janie went to school but Peanut got to stay home with the rest of the family.

The boys actually took a nap too!

Afterschool, we all went to Jamba Juice and Daiso.

Later in the evening, the kids snacked on roasted broccoli while Mama went out to pick up dinner for the family. What a fun day!

Fun Day at School

Peanut’s day at school was filled with activity. The morning started with their weekly walk to the lagoon. How cute are they?!

They all sat on the steps nearby to watch the ducks and took a class photo too. Our crazy Peanut is on the top row being…well, crazy.

Later that day, Miss Lupita read “Harold and the Purple Crayon” to the class.

Lots of Writing and Drawing

Lately, Peanut has been super interested in writing, drawing, and coloring. He insisted on writing out his own birthday card for their neighborhood friend Ellie. Mama spelled out the words and he wrote the letters all by himself!

At dinner, he worked really hard on a color-by-letter picture.

At the end of the night, he drew a car (his is upside-down) and wrote his name on the new white boards they received over the weekend.
