Water Play

It’s been warm this past week so the kids played with the water table this weekend and played “restaurant” yesterday.

The fun continued today but with a few more helpers in the restaurant that were less than helpful in the end. They all just ended up making a be wet mess. 🙂

Back to the Usual

The kids are enjoying their home and neighborhood again. When Peanut walked into the house yesterday, he said “I remember this place.”

The neighborhood kids were also happy to see them back and it was warm enough to have a watergun fight.

We had lunch at Chipotle and then they were back to their usual hijinks, including a little incident with a planter box that gave him a bandaid on his eyebrow.

Beach Buddies

Today we got up early and drove toward Half Moon Bay to Gray Whale Cove Beach. We met up with Sophie and Avia for another day at the beach.

The water was pretty cold but the kids played all day. It was so fun to see the girls playing together like they do in Hawaii.

This is becoming a fun annual day trip with our beach buddies. Can’t wait to do this again but in Hawaii this December! Yaaaay!

Ethan’s Beach Party

We went to Crab Cove this morning for Ethan’s 4th birthday party. Ethan is his best buddy since they were 18 months old and have been in the same class the whole time.

It’s great to have a beach so close to home!

Everyone made sand castles and dug in the sand. Our shovels from the Dollar Store really came in handy!

Peanut also buried his buddy’s legs at one point.

Pool Day

This morning we gathered at Uncle Jason’s house and then headed to their pool.

We had water guns that we bought at the Dollar Store yesterday and the boys battled.

It looked like it was gonna be too cold at first but the sun came out shortly after we got into the pool and warmed us up very quickly.

July 4th in Cerritos

Last night we drove down to Cerritos for the long weekend.

In the morning, Peanut and Leela went to the park. We also experienced an earthquake as we were getting buckled up in the car.

Back at Yai and Ta’s house, we had a barbecue and Peanut gobbled up a bunch of Thai BBQ chicken that Yai made.

All the cousins were at the house and Ta gave them all plenty to do. They had water balloons, regular balloons, and a sandbox too!

They also went on a little “hike” in the backyard jungle with walking sticks and all.

In the evening, we all went across the street to ride bikes and scooters.

As the sun went down, we drove to Uncle Johnny’s house to watch the fireworks from his backyard.

Happy Birthday, America!
