Bubba Gump’s

After the aquarium, we all went across the driveway to Bubba Gump’s for lunch. Toni was not a fan of sitting up high on Uncle Jason’s shoulders.

We got seated outside and the kids had fun with the kid’s menu and crayons. Even Peanut go into it.

Alice showed us all how she can write her name now.

After lunch, the kids shared a sundae together. The toppings came on the side so they could choose what they wanted.

It got divvied up between all the kids and Peanut couldn’t get enough of the ice cream.

20 months

IMG_1907

Peanut is 20 months old today! He’s had a crazy month filled with lots of changes.

  • He said goodbye to Mimi and Andrea this month as we made the move to Alameda.
  • As soon as we moved, Peanut started daycare at a school near the new house. He’s still getting used to it but he only cries for a couple minutes at drop off and has a good time the rest of the day.
  • Yai has been with us for 3 weeks to help care for he kids while we took care of the move and selling the condo.
  • New words: shoe, hello (sounds more like “alo”), school, papa, yup, bien, bye
  • Gross motor: stepping up and down on his own, climbing up the playground structure, taking the slide on his own,
  • Self-care: Really good at using his fork and spoon, putting on lotion, climbing up onto sister’s TrippTrapp chair
  • Language: points to his nose and mouth, seems to understand everything
  • Fine Motor: puts Duplos together, holds a marker and scribbles
  • Sleeping 12 hours at night – also going to bed really early now (~6:30 pm!)
  • Loves wearing his backpack

He still loves spaghetti and started saying “noo-noo” for noodles.
