We took Janie to see the big 72-foot catamarans today.

The day started with a long walk down The Embarcadero. We found an open pier for her to roam around.

She loved walking around and exploring.

The America’s Cup Village was so much fun!

Watch us grow!

Janie got a membership to the zoo for her birthday so we took her to see the new baby giraffe. This adult giraffe was up close for a bite to eat.

She wore her giraffe shirt just for the occasion.

She spent most of the day on foot, which was a nice change for her.

She watched the flamingos eating after she finished her lunch.
At the end of the zoo day, she got to roam around the open area by the entrance.

What a fun day!

Dinner was pretty fun tonight.

She can be so silly and so much fun.

Who knew that our little girl would be such a love bug too?
She hates it but we gotta do it every night before bed. Luckily she doesn’t put up too much of a fight.
Mommy got a big smooch on the cheek today. She also tried to remotely give Koa a hug.

I love hanging out with my little girl. Here’s a photo we took and sent to Daddy while he was still at work.

Janie had a good time at Portland Airport. The flight was delayed an hour so she got to walk around and explore the place.

Here she is watching the rain fall outside.

She also got a little grouchy because it was running into her nap time.
Her favorite part was riding the moving walkways. It was like a baby treadmill!

On the plane, she sat in an empty middle seat and played with her new Magna Doodle and flipped through her book. She did great on our flight back to SF.

Janie visited the Oregon Zoo today with Auntie Heather and Daphne.

She got to see the new baby elephant named Lily.

Take a look at these two! Daphne kept checking in on Janie and walked alongside her stroller too.

Mr. Bear came out just in time to say hello to us while we were on the bridge.

We got this group photo just in time.

Janie fell asleep for her 12:00 nap right after the photo and an exciting morning at the zoo.

Janie visited Multnomah Falls this afternoon. Before heading to the main attraction, Daddy took her up a hill to see Latourell Falls.
She enjoyed the ride in the backpack.

Here’s the waterfall!

And here’s the famous Multnomah Falls!

Janie also got to roam around and learned how to walk down a hill without falling. She had fun but it was a bit nerve-wracking for Mommy.

What a fun afternoon!

Janie went to a deli tonight for dinner and tried some mac n cheese and chicken noodle.
