Watch us grow!

Before we all went our separate ways, we got the whole gang together for some photos. Here are the two babies, Peanut and Maya, who are 4 months apart.

Here are the babies with their older sisters who are also the same age!

Surprisingly, Peanut was especially smiley this morning during the photoshoot.

Peanut took a photo with his big buddy, Oliver, who is almost 10 months old.

Janie did a good job supporting her little brother on the couch.

We also managed to get a photo of all five kids together.

Here is our Party of 11 from the weekend. What a fun trip!!

We all had breakfast together at the hotel and Janie played with her new Frozen Memory Game that she received as a gift from Auntie Krissy.

When she was done eating her breakfast, she used her cup and straw as the “ball and stick” that Elsa had to hold on coronation day.

Peanut also joined us at the table during our meal.

We all went out to Morimoto for a fancy dinner tonight. On the walk over, Maya and Peanut fell asleep. While we waited for our table, the two babies napped side-by-side in Uncle Jimmy’s double stroller.

Janie also fell asleep when we arrived at the restaurant.

She woke up long enough to have some sashimi and the soup we ordered for her.

Peanut also hung out in our laps for most of dinner and was a good boy.

For dessert, we took all the kids to Gott’s for ice cream. Yay! Janie and Zoe also stayed up late to hang out with the grown-ups at the hotel lobby afterward.

We drove up to Napa for a 3-day vacation this morning. Auntie Ranee was going for the day so we met up with them at V. Sattui and found a nice spot on the picnic grounds to hang out.

Peanut had a relaxing day at home today. He hung out in his favorite spot, Mama’s shoulder, while Mama stood at the window watching Janie swim.

He also hung out on Mama’s bed and looked out the window too.

Each morning when Janie gets dropped off at school, she makes a request for who she wants to pick her up in the afternoon. Today, she told Yai that she wanted Mama, Dada, and Peanut to pick her up – the whole family. We can’t always fulfill her requests but today we did. She was so happy to see us and chuckled a bit when she saw Peanut in the stroller too.

Before heading home, she gathered her artwork with her teacher and gave them both hugs.

This evening’s walk home involved the use of both our strollers at the same time.

On the way home, we stopped for a snack at a local cafe and she got to finish what was packed in her lunchbag.

She sat on Dada’s lap since it was too hard to reach the table from the bench.

Peanut also got to eat and then stayed awake for a while.

Our last stop was the local pizza place to pick up dinner. While we waited for our order, Janie tried to feed Mama some of the scraps of paper that she had made at school.

Silly girl.

This is how we brought the pizza home tonight. Thanks, Peanut!

Look who’s up a little late tonight. The photo is really grainy because of how dim it was in the bedroom.

Here’s our little guy just relaxing and watching the mobile over his bed.

What a cutie.

We love having the trolley on the weekends now. We rode it down to Washington St. today and Janie had such a good time.

Dada carried Peanut and he napped, as usual.

Once off the trolley, we walked up Washington Street to one of our favorite cafes in Chinatown. At one point, Janie didn’t want to ride in the stroller or walk, so she rode on Dada’s shoulders. He looked like a sherpa carrying both kids at the same time.

At the restaurant, Peanut borrowed the stroller for some napping and to just hang out while we all ate. He was such a good baby.

On the walk back to the Ferry Plaza, Janie took her nap in the stroller and then woke up for a special treat – soft serve!!!

The weather outside was so nice and we all got a little bit of sunshine.

It was such a nice afternoon that we stopped at Hi-Dive for a snack on the patio. We got chicken wings so that Janie could enjoy some crudites. She was specifically looking forward to eating carrots so when the dish came with just celery, she asked for carrots and the nice waitress brought her a whole plate!

Afterward, Janie ran down The Embarcadero all the way home.

Here’s a close-up of this photo. It looks like she’s floating!

This is definitely one of our favorite things about SF. The Embarcadero allows this 3-year-old to get burn some energy and run free while Mama and Dada get some fresh air and sun.

Boy, going out with Uncle Jason and Auntie Jia is now a different experience. We’ve gone from a party of 5 to a party of 8 in a matter of months. We went to the SF Zoo together today and had the twins in their stroller, Peanut in a carrier with Dada, and Janie in her stroller.

Before seeing the animals, we had a picnic at the zoo playground. All the babies also got fed and Peanut snoozed in the sun for a few minutes while Mama put away all the food and trash.

After lunch, the babies all fell asleep and Peanut borrowed Janie’s stroller.

We used the infant insert of the Ergo to snuggle him tight in the flattened stroller seat.

Janie took Toni and Thomas around to her favorite animals and the hippo was awake!

Then we rode the train and carousel. Janie has really perfected her Queen Elsa wave.

It was another fun day at the zoo!!

For dinner, we went to a Chinese restaurant and took up a big table in the corner.

Peanut was awake for some of dinner and sat on Mama’s lap and then Dada’s lap too.
