On Fridays after swim, the kids like to have pizza at Spin.
Mama got some extra smooches from Peanut during dinner too.
Little Voter
This evening, Peanut walked to the polling place with Mama and was super excited about putting the envelope in the slot. He also scored his own “I voted” sticker.
Anniversary Crab
It’s Mama and Dada’s 16th Anniversary today so we went to Hang Ten Boiler to celebrate.

Pumpkin Farm
This morning, we went to Joan’s Pumpkin Patch and Farm.
We also met up with Sophie, Avia, Sabrina, and Cecily.
There was so much to do at this farm!
Janie did a little panning for gems, which looked more like colorful aquarium rocks.
Peanut could not wait to ride the train.
There was a petting and feeding area with lots of hungry goats.
We also stopped for lunch at Fiery Shanghai and the Tsaos joined us before heading home. The girls sat together and tried spicy noodles too.
They also had a Snowflake that had rolled ice cream.
Sunset at the Ferry
This evening, we picked up Dada at the ferry after swim so we watched the sun go down as the ferry arrived.
So pretty!
Dinner for Mama’s Birthday
After swim, we celebrated Mama’s birthday at a Japanese restaurant nearby. The last time we had teppanyaki, Peanut was only 5 months old and dprobably slept through most of the show.
Today, he had a good view of the cooking and got a little scared of the fire.
Janie got a giant plate of shrimp and veggies, which she loved.
We got a family photo at the end of the meal, which is rare for us lately.
For dessert, we walked across the street to CREAM for ice cream. Yum!
On our walk back to the car, Peanut serenaded Mama with “You Are My Sunshine”.
Stories Before Bed
Bike Ride
Mama and Janie went on a bike ride to Southshore Center today. Janie did great going up the hills and over the bridge.
Reunited
The kids came home this afternoon and were so happy to see the minivan pull up to the curb at the airport. We went out to dinner afterward and had so much to tell us. It’s nice to have them back but dinner was not as peaceful as it had been these past two weeks.
Silly Girl
We called the kids before bed and Janie was super silly this evening.
