Today was our last day with Mirian. Before heading to school, Janie gave Mirian a big hug.

At the park, Mirian took a cute photo of Andrea and Peanut together.

Muchas gracias por todo, Mimi. Te amamos y buena suerte con tu siguiente familia.

Mama was home this morning before her doctor’s appointment so she got to see what Peanut does with Mimi and Andrea in the morning.

They played for a little while and then sat down for breakfast together.

Then it was time for jackets and stroller so they could go to the library for story time.

While Mama was heading to the bank, we bumped into each other on their way back from the library. Peanut was a little confused when he saw Mama in the middle of the day.

This is what it looks like in the evening garage transfer. Mama comes home, Mimi moves her car out of the space, Mama parks, and then the kids come over in the stroller. We’re gonna miss Mimi and Andrea.

Andrea didn’t come over today so Peanut had a morning with Mimi to himself. He got all bundled up for his outing to the museum.

It looks like they rode the carousel a few times and had a fun time.

I still remember pictures of Janie riding this giraffe.

The little man played with magnetic tiles inside. It must be nice to have the tiles all to yourself for once.

Now with “Get Ready Days” over and a month of what her class considers “summer camp”, today was the official first day of Pre-K. Mama was home but Mimi still came to hang out with Peanut for the day.

Dada had to go to work early so Mama and Janie rode the 10 bus to school this morning.

Here’s Janie in front of her school. It’s the brick building on the corner waaaaay back there. The playground is on the roof of the building covered by a huge awning protecting them from the debris overhead from the building being built next door. She’s also standing right in front of Dada’s work. Super convenient, right?!

She signed her name on the clipboard while Mama checked her in on the computer.

She then chose the puzzle area and made the fireman puzzle that she was telling us about this morning.

She later chose the writing area while her old buddies from the Alligator class joined her. Arthur, the one on the right, started the Whale class today. Janie was busy making a birthday card for Dada.

On Fridays, Mimi takes Peanut to the museum.

He rode a horse on the carousel today!

We had a warm day so the kids played in the courtyard this afternoon.

Uh…why is my 9-month-old bigger than his 17-month-old friend???

It’s great to have Mirian back with our family again for Round 2. Janie likes spending time with her in the mornings before school and Peanut has such a good time with her all day.

Mama was taking a nap in the bedroom when she heard this little guy cracking up.
