This evening, Janie went grocery shopping with Mommy.

Then she attempted to help put the food away. Nice try, Baby.

Apparently kibble is still rather entertaining and Koa’s hungry enough to eat it off the floor and out of Janie’s hands.

I heard some crunching coming from next to the bed today. Janie had kicked Koa out of his bed and made herself at home.

Koa only tolerated because he was being given some puffs in return.

Here they are sharing some cereal.

It’s been fun watching Karla and Janie play side-by-side. Koa gets into the mix too sometimes.

We drove back to SF today and Janie did rather well on this trip. At one point, she was sitting in the back seat happily talking and rehearsing all the stuff she had learned this past week.

After taking a good nap, we stopped for lunch and she seemed extra hungry.

One of the other stops we took was at a rest stop on Interstate 5.

There was lots of shade and grass and got to stretch her legs and run around a bit.

At Gilroy, we stopped at the outlet and she had a little meltdown on the sidewalk. I think she was just hungry because once we sat down and gave her some watermelon, she was happy again.

She loved the Nike store because there was so much to see and the AC also helped recharge her.

Janie also got a new pair of slippers for the warm weather.

Here she is looking out the window at the store. Can you see Koa tied up outside? Poor Koa.

Once we got home, she got a nice long bath and was refreshed again. It’s good to be home.
We drove down to Cerritos today and Janie did relatively well for a kid that is used to being up and running around all day. Luckily Yai was in the backseat to help entertain her.

We stopped for lunch at In N Out and she ate her tofu and spaghetti before getting her hands on a french fry.

It was nice and warm outside so she enjoyed hanging out in the highchair with no socks and shoes.

In the car, she took two naps with one of them being in the middle of traffic. Phew.

Janie made kibble soup for Koa today and was so very proud of herself.
Janie is like a hobbit. After she’s had her dinner, she wants some of whatever you’re eating later. This what it looks like when anyone tries to eat a meal in the livingroom. I think Janie and Koa are in on it together. Unfortunately, Janie got plenty of bites while Koa had to go back to his bowl of kibble for his second dinner.
I guess furiously signing “more” works out well for the little human. Dog needs to learn sign language STAT.

We’re having some nice warm weather this weekend.

Janie needed to cool off after a big morning outside so she got to play with just a diaper on.

Take a look at that mess…*sigh*

We also got to take a walk with the tricycle.

It was the perfect afternoon for her to wear the aloha dress that Auntie Joy and Uncle Johnny bought for her.

Seems to fit better than when she wore it on her birthday. Here she is checking herself out in the mirror at Sports Basement.
This is usually what happens when she’s “all done” with eating. I like how she tries to be a little sneaky. Also, there’s a very cute resemblance of them to the painting on the wall.
