Rainy Day
It’s our first rainy day of the fall season and we got the rain cover for Mirian’s new stroller just in time! Here they are on their way to the library for Toddler Tales!
They also spent a lot of time indoors today. Mirian took a bunch of cute photos of the girls reading and playing together.

Mirian bought a new double stroller over the weekend. They’re looking pretty comfy in their new ride!

Janie learned a new trick from Karla today.

Karla was Cinderella today.
For Halloween, they went to Thursday Story Time where the other kids were dressed up too.
I don’t think she liked the elephant kid.

Halloween at the Museum
Today Mirian and a bunch of other nannies had a Halloween gathering at the museum.
That meant we had to get a costume for Janie on Tuesday night.
Out of the very slim selection of costumes at Target, we went with the girly pirate. It’s actually pretty cute.
Karla was Tinkerbell so they actually matched. Apparently the pirate character is part of the Peter Pan/Lost Boys cartoon series. So it’s like the fairies teamed up with the pirates. Funny.
I guess the costume matches her usually scowly expression too.
And look at those boots! They’re actually shoe covers.

While Janie and Karla were waiting for story time, they were up to no good.
I don’t know what they were doing exactly but they’re pretty funny together.
Maybe she Janie had too much fun because she snoozed through part of story time.

Weekend Playtime
Mommy had to work this morning so Mirian and Karla came over to play with Janie. They went to the Creativity Museum today and they have a bunch of new toys to play with.
The chalkboard and Lego board seemed to be a hit with these girls. And yes, that’s a bruise on the side of her face from a fall she had earlier this week.
