After dinner, we all went to Safeway to buy some food for the week.
Peanut was on foot and loved being able to follow his sister around. He wanted to be just like her and dragged a basket around the whole store.
Watch us grow!

When we got back from the run, Janie was up so the two kids played together. The kazoos from Hudson’s party came out and they made quite a ruckus.
It’s so funny how Peanut loves to copy his big sister.
They also got to watch Paw Patrol together while Dada was making breakfast.
The kids have breakfast together every morning now.
Peanut loves watching her sister and they’ve starting interacting a lot more.

Here they are doing a wiggle dance together. So cute.
This morning, Mama made some banana bread.
Meanwhile, Janie made some carrot bread and posted up her recipe on the cabinet too.
Janie had such a fun time at this old house that we looked at in Redwood City. She especially liked kicking this brick around.
She also imitated Daddy’s posture and then said “like Dada!”
Janie seems to really like cooking and tea parties. Today while Mommy was watching Top Chef, she was imitating the chopping that the chefs were doing on TV.
The other day Daddy turned on a clip from “Frozen” and Janie immediately called out “Elsa! Ana!” Hm…I guess she was paying attention when we watched it on Mother’s Day. Now she asks for the songs all the time. She’ll say “Elsa” or “snowman” and Daddy turns on the videos for her. I guess the Disney craze is starting. I wonder if she’ll recognize anyone when we go to Disneyland in December.
Oh and take a look at how she’s holding her fish magnet. She’s imitating Daddy holding the mouse. Funny girl.
Ankong and Ama called tonight and she got a good review of her numbers in Mandarin.
Lately Janie has been saying “hai-low” while waving. I think she’s trying to say “hello” but then I discovered it’s coming from the Hello Song that she hears at the library every Tuesday and Thursday. I guess it’s a hybrid of “Hi, Hello”. Cute.
Here she is enjoying her bubbles at the end of story time. At home, she’s been imitating the teacher by standing on a stool, holding a cup and spoon, stirring the spoon, and then pretending to blow bubbles.
These two are so cute together. This was taken before their naptime today. They copied each other and Janie also gave Karla a big hug.
