Tying Shoelaces
Janie figured out how to tie shoelaces. The motivation came from wanting to tie her kung fu shoes. Way to go, kiddo!
Bedtime
Zipper!
When I wasn’t looking, Peanut figured out how to do the zipper on his jacket! He’s not even 3 yet! Amazing.
Socks
This guy loves being independent. He’s able to put on his socks, shoes, and pants all by himself now!
Yai and Peanut

Yai has been a really big help during this move. It’s been particularly helpful in the mornings. She gets up early with Peanut, gets him ready for school, and drops him off too.
Wednesday morning

Today was going to be a day with Mama because both kids have an appointment with the eye doctor.

They had breakfast together as usual and then big sister helped put on little brother’s shoes.

In case you were wondering why Peanut always has a stethoscope around his neck lately, we now have a video of what he does when he sees it on the floor.
Zipper!!!

Janie came home from school today and said “I can do my zipper!” When Mama asked how she learned, she said “I practiced!” She really knows how to make her OT Mama proud.
shoes on

This afternoon, Janie was in the house with her pals at school and was able to put her shoes on by herself. That’s very helpful while Mommy signs her out.

I know she’s been able to do this for quite a while but I can’t help relish in her independence.
