Peanut got to help crush the peanuts today. Haha.
Jasper’s House
Today is a Staff Training Day so there was no school. Jasper’s mom was nice enough to invite Janie over for the day so she didn’t have to go to Yu Ying. In the morning, Dada dropped her off and Jasper made a schedule for the day.
They built a fort and also played in the cardboard time machine that Jasper already had in the livingroom.
They also had some time at the playground that is located across from his house and she saw a familar face there – ZOE!
After lunch, they made a gingerbread Halloween house and decorated cookies.
On top of all these activities, Janie also got an introduction to coding on her iPad with Jasper and his dad. What a fun-filled day!
Spam Musubi
This evening, Janie made Spam musubi with Dada.
She also wrapped them up and labeled them for her lunch and Mama’s.
Little Chef
This girl loves to cook with Dada and she’s prepping veggies and mushrooms with a real paring knife like a little pro.
Waffles and Homework
This morning, the kids helped Dada make waffles.
They also did some “homework” together.
Clam Chowder
This morning, we went to Fremont to have some dumplings and noodles for lunch.
Then we went to 99 Ranch to buy some fresh clams. Dada’s making Hog Island Clam Chowder for dinner at Uncle Ian’s house tonight.
Janie peeled all the potatoes and Peanut made potato peel soup.
Here’s the final product and it was delicious!
Play Dough Restaurant
Peanut is making a full meal with play dough again!

Chef Peanut
This kid asked to play with play-doh and he made some noodles, pancakes, and other tasty treats.
It’s Friday!
At school, Peanut helped make smoothies with his classmates.
After Friday evening swim lessons, the kids chose pho for dinner.

The kids made chocolate chip cookies with extra chocolate chips today!
