Locked out

This evening, both Mama and Dada left the keys in the house as we left for dinner. We were locked out!! Luckily, Mirian was home so Dada took a cab to her house to pick up the keys while Mama took the kids out for dinner nearby.

They were well behaved and had a hearty meal.

After dinner, we went back to the condo and waited for Dada in the lobby. The intercom is connected to Mama’s cell phone so we were able let ourselves into the building at least.

This is what it looked like in the lobby while we waited. Janie did some push-ups while Peanut worked on climbing the lounge chair.

There was also a little bit of running in circles too.

Alameda House Visit

We made an appointment with our realtor to have a look around the new house. The first thing on Janie’s agenda was to play on the playground right outside of the house.

We also explored the house, took some measurements, and got a better idea of what we needed to put on our shopping list. Peanut woke up in time to do some exploring of his own including the stairs. Yikes. Two baby gates will definitely be on our shopping list.

Janie also learned how to open the sliding door from her room to the balcony. We may need to add a sliding door lock system to our shopping list as well.

Only two more weeks before we can move in!!

Playground

On the way home from soccer, we stopped at the Mission Bay Kids’ Park. Some of her soccer pals were also there to do some climbing with her.

Meanwhile, Peanut played on the toddler structure and slide with Dada.

He also did some swinging and rocking.

Janie later joined her little brother and did some dual sliding with him.

Peanut also did some spinning and then the kids joined two other kids on the 4-person teeter-totter.

SPARK Social SF

We had dinner at SPARK Social SF today. Dada bought ramen for everyone to share and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it.

For dessert, we had mini cinnamon sugar donuts made to order.

Janie also made friends with these two boys. She ran around, climbed, jumped off logs, and also made a barricade on the upper deck of the double-decker bus.

Peanut had fun climbing up and down the large steps to the platform.

This may be our last visit to this place for a while and the kids made most of it. In fact, Janie cried when it was time to go home.

Goofballs

The evening started out well with the two kids watching Octonauts.

Then they got progressively goofier.

This little guy also seems to be in constant motion. I took a 2-minute clip of him “sitting” next to his sister while they watched Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood together.
