This girl has figured out how to use her step stool to climb up onto her chair. Life just got a little harder.

On our walk back from the Farmer’s Market, Janie got some time to run around.

Now that she is literally running around now, most of my shots of her are from the back or the side. Oh well.

Janie went to Disneyland again on Christmas Eve. She was able to do more, see more, and understand more this year.

In the morning, we went to Fantasyland to get her on the Dumbo ride! Luckily it was early enough that she could tolerate standing in the line and seemed to be ok with the ride itself.

She did surprisingly well with waiting in line all day. We can’t bring the stroller into the line and she was pretty good about staying close-by and not causing too much trouble.

Here she is watching the three kids behind us in the Monsters Inc. line. She was pretty amused by them and tried to copy their moves.

Now that she’s walking, running, and climbing, Disneyland was so much more interesting this year.

She got a lot of practice on the stairs everywhere. Up and down…up and down…

It was Baby Alice’s first trip and they were twinsies!!

There was so much to see and hear!! It was so cute to see her waving to the people on the steamboat as they passed by.

The fountain at the Cozy Cone was pretty fun to watch too.

All the activity and excitement really makes a little girl work up an appetite.

She got her very first kid’s meal and gobbled up all the broccoli. Spaghetti is always a hit too.

It was also a warm 80 degrees so she was treated with some frozen lemonade.

For dinner, she loved the green beans and fried chicken at the Plaza Inn.

Janie met Mommy’s friends Chip and Dale today. She was a little unsure but managed to fake a smile.

She also met Minnie Mouse and actually smiled and waved to her.

We also took Janie on the Finding Nemo Submarine ride again this year and she did SO much better. Some of the explosions and stuff startled her but she didn’t cry like last year. The bubbles and fish were just enough to keep her entertained. Good job, Baby!

She liked the lights at It’s a Small World but was pretty tired and sleepy by the time we got onto the ride.

What a fun day with the family!! Merry Christmas, Everyone!

The new playground just opened at the SF Zoo last weekend so we went this afternoon to check it out. Janie still loves the swing!

She also gave the slides a try on her own. They were just her size in the 6-24 month section.

This afternoon, Janie went to the playground as usual and Mirian got a bunch of cute photos of her playing.

This is why our house is filled with sand each day.

It looks like Janie has started climbing.

Up, up, up she goes!

Janie went to Mommy’s work today for a PT Month Potluck. Unfortunately, it was during her usual nap time and she was a little overwhelmed by all the people so she stuck pretty close to Mommy.

She got to play on the stairs and figured out how to hold the rail.

The potluck food was also really tasty.
Happy PT Month to Aunties Karen, Ranee, Teresa, and Nicole!!

Janie LOVED the stairs at Ankong and Ama’s house.

Ankong got a lot of exercise today.

Janie went out to watch another race but we had to trek all the way out to Marina Green today for our grandstand seats.

The morning started with a ride on Daddy’s back and on the special train to Fisherman’s Wharf.

By the time we arrived at the venue, she fell asleep. So, she slept through most of the race.

She woke up in time to see the water from the grandstands but that was about it.

No afternoon is complete without a big snack. Baby Duck is having edamame.

It was a gorgeous day in the Marina.

It was also super windy. In face, it was so windy that they canceled the second race.

Janie couldn’t get enough of the curbs.

She also enjoyed lounging on the Adirondack chair nearby.

When it was time to go home, we rode the Chinatown bus and Janie had a luxo ride on Daddy’s back.
Check out Janie’s newest trick! She just figured it out yesterday. Now her favorite thing to do is climb up and stand up on the seat. Sheesh. We’d better squash that right away!
It’s Wednesday, so Janie and Karla went to the museum again this morning.

First, Janie did a little painting and coloring.

Then she played with the big magnets.

Next, was her favorite station. Duplos!!

She made a giant tower and looks so proud of herself.

She also climbed up the stair to the top of the wooden slide.

Karla decided to go up the other way.
Boy oh boy, our annual membership for them is going a long way!
