Janie went to see Santa again today.
Once again, she was not amused.
Watch us grow!
Janie went to see Santa again today.
Once again, she was not amused.
Janie started eating bananas this week! Hooray!
For lunch, Janie went to lunch with the family. She really liked eating the Pad See Ew with a grown-up fork. She also tried Tom Yum Goong and it wasn’t too spicy for her. She’s definitely got her daddy’s taste buds.
Janie had a good time hanging out with her aunties and uncles. All the 2nd cousins were there too!
After we were finished eating, there were presents galore. Janie’s finally caught on to unwrapping presents.
She loved the book that Uncle Pish and Auntie Debbie bought her. Thank you for all the presents!!!
This is what the grandparents resort to when your kid doesn’t want to come home and doesn’t want to let go of her shopping cart too.
Janie loves to feed Yai’s fish.
These fish are going to get very fat this week.
Janie loves mandarin oranges and asked Auntie Joy to help her open two of them tonight after dinner. Meanwhile, Alice was eyeing them and Auntie Joy let her smell one.
Janie also offered to share one of her wedges with her cousin.
Uncle Johnny and Auntie Joy came over tonight and we exchanged gifts early.
Janie unwrapped her gift from Alice and was more excited about the sticker on the package than the actual gift.
She was also excited about her new sweater from Yai and couldn’t help showing it to everyone.
Janie went to Auntie Patty’s house to hang out with her pals Zoe, Kylie, Kaitlyn, and Lauryn this afternoon.
She followed them around and they let her into their Girls Only Club. Grown-ups weren’t allowed so Mommy stood at the door and watched the girls pow-wow together.
Kaitlyn, the oldest of the gang, took good care of her and helped her up the stairs and into the laundry basket “boat”.
She got a lot of practice on the stairs this afternoon and mastered going down the stairs on her own.
Mochi, Koa’s brother, also lives at the house and Janie was delighted to see him.
She would point to him and call out “Go-Go!” and followed him around the house. She tried to snuggle him a few times but he would just run away – unlike Koa who would just sit and take it.
Here she is stalking him in the backyard.
What a fun afternoon!
