We had a gorgeous evening today and all the kids were out playing baseball together.
Busy Saturday
We had an eventful Saturday. It started with the kids playing outside in the morning. They traded Pokemon cards and ran around as usual.
Then it was time to go to Hudson’s 2nd birthday party. Peanut enjoyed making a mask with lots of glue and sequins.
Right after that party, we headed to Zoe and Maya’s house to celebrate Uncle Jimmy’s birthday. The girls played school, which included the little girls being the teachers and assigned the big girls some math problems.
Janie and Peanut also played a little tee ball outside.
Oakland A’s and Fireworks
We went to our first Oakland Athletics game this evening. We parked at the BART station and walked across the bridge to get to the stadium.
We had some decent seats in near 3rd base and the kids had fun chanting “Let’s Go Oakland!”
After 12 long innings, we all got onto the field to watch the fireworks overhead. We didn’t get home until midnight but it was a lot of fun!
Baseball
Gavin got a new toy for his birthday and they all had fun with it this afternoon.
baseball game
Janie really wanted to go to a baseball game today so we bought some last-minute tickets.
They were also giving away 2-fo-1 vouchers for Virgin America. After getting in, we watched the crowd enter the stadium from above.
We got there pretty early so Janie got to walk down toward the dugout and showed off her foam finger.
Sophie and Avia also went to the game so the girls got to play together.

There was a little tee ball and then hot dogs for lunch before heading to our seats.
We caught the girls holding hands at one point. So cute!
Janie loved sitting in her bleacher seats and also got a big bag of popcorn for snacking.
Peanut slept through lunch and the first half of the game but woke up early enough to hang out and play a bit.
It was a great day for a baseball game!!
AT&T Park
The playground at the ballpark was open today so we went inside to play. It’s nice to be able to play without the crowds.
Janie tried tee ball at the mini field and learned how to swing a bat.

We had to teach her how to hit, drop the bat, and run the bases. Initially, she’d hit the ball and then run toward the pitcher’s mound with the bat in her hand to retrieve the ball.
Peanut also got to explore the field and pulled himself up on the bench.
What a cute photo of Janie and her Dada.
