We celebrated Mama and Dada’s 17th wedding anniversary today at Trabocco and Peanut slept through the first half of it. Didn’t know he could still sleep like this.

It’s Halloween and the kids were ready! Here is a drawing that Janie made at school earlier this month.

She also wrote something on the fridge this morning.

This year, they dressed up as kangaroos. These were some super comfy costumes and they got to carry a stuffy in their pouches.

Before the neighborhood started trick-or-treating, we went to the local shopping center to go door to door at the stores.

Then the kids all gathered outside our house and then took off!

Peanut’s buddy, Ethan, joined us again this year.

The neighbor boys, Gavin and Collin, also came along.

We were out until dark and the house lights were all on.

Some houses went all out!!

The kids came home with quite a load of candy this year!

This will have been their 5th year of coordinated outfits. So cute!!!

Our pumpkin outside wasn’t carved yet and it’s a good thing because the neighborhood squirrel carved a whole out the top and stole all the seeds!

After a day of school and family portraits, the kids got to chill out in front of the TV for a bit.

Uncle Jason and Auntie Jia drove up today and the kids had so much fun eating dinner and dessert together.

Then it was a cousin slumber party in their bedroom.

They played Octonauts and then a game of Zingo.

Then they gathered around for stories. Janie did a great job reading to them.

It took them a while to settle down and fall asleep but overall they all did well.

The kids did a lot of sweeping out front this morning and then took a break outside with a snack.

Peanut later took a nap on the couch in the middle of all of the laundry piles.

Peanut hung out with Evan in the wagon today while Janie played in the soccer match.

Auntie Eleen caught this cool photo of Janie in action.

This keeps Janie on task in the mornings after Mama has left for work. She wrote a little note too. 🙂

The kids made quite a creation with the MagnaTiles today. This is still one of the best toys we’ve ever purchased for them.
