Watch us grow!

With Shelter-in-Place happening so suddenly and Peanut’s school closing over a weekend, we didn’t have the chance to bring home his belongings. Months later, we were given a day to pick up what he had in his cubby, which included his sunscreen, bandaids, medicine, and some school supplies. This notebook was sent home and it was fun to see the work he did over the first half of the year.

We are back to the reading book! We started it a few months ago but stopped for a while. There are 100 lessons and we will finish it eventually.

Dada got bored so he took Janie to the hobby store to buy a rocket.

They launched it in the parking lot across the street and it went up SO HIGH!

It landed in the school yard so Dada had to hop the fence to retrieve it.

The kids had another day at Toni and Thomas’ house and their pool.

We took a family walk around the lake at Regional Park today. It was close to sunset, which made the sky pink.

It’s hot outside but the kids still had fun riding their bikes behind Mama while she ran around the neighborhood.

Then we went to Uncle Johnny’s house for some fun in the bounce house.

They also played restaurant inside the house when it got too hot.

It’s July 4th today! The day started with donuts and Animal Crossing.

Then we went to Toni and Thomas’ house for the day. Dada and Uncle Jason smoked some brisket and the kids played.

When the sun went down, we all stood in front of the house and watched the fireworks that Uncle Johnny and Mama bought. The neighbors next door took turns lighting theirs with ours. So fun!

Happy Birthday, America!

We got a nice photo of the cousins together and smiling! Yay!

It’s warm outside so it’s another pool day!
