Peanut made this jet that breaks into 5 separate pieces.

It’s great how creative he is with his Legos lately. Makes mixing up the sets a little more worthwhile.
Here’s his explanation of how it splits up.
Watch us grow!

This last always been a fun activity to do as a kid. It’s a mixture of cornstarch and water. If it’s moving, it is a solid state but once you let it rest, it “melts” into a liquid.

This morning, we had Kung Fu and then we went back in the afternoon for Peanut’s belt test!
Nice work, Peanut!! You did it!

Janie had her Green Belt Test today so Peanut came prepared with things to do and things to eat.

Here is her routine and kick.

She passed and brought home another broken board. She moves up to a Green-Black Belt.

After the test, we went to have lunch at a new Japanese curry/katsu place.

They had tables outside so we actually got to sit down and eat at the restaurant for a change.

The kids love it when Mama sets up a snack station at the front door when they are outside playing.
Janie also gave Peanut a lesson on how to ride a skateboard today.

Today is Mama’s birthday and since she took the day off, we drove to San Francisco after Zoom classes were done. We went to the Ferry Plaza and found it deserted.

They had outdoor tables for us to sit and wait for our table at Hog Island Oyster Co.

Janie drew a cute picture while we waited.

It was fun eating at Hog Island again after so many months. They had tables spaced out nicely and the food was just as good as we remembered.

Peanut enjoyed eating his clams. He also managed to entertain himself with the empty shells too

No trip to the Ferry Plaza is complete without soft serve from Gott’s. It was nice to be back in our old hang out spot but we were sad to see how the pandemic has really turned off the hustle and bustle of the city.
What do you want to be when you grow up?

It’s still so HOT here in Southern California and the pool at Auntie Jia’s house is open!
