This little girl amazes me every day. She absorbs information faster than I can record her milestones. She has a vocabulary that I can’t keep up with in 4 different languages.
Here highlights from this past month:
- Speech (English): here you go, thank you, I love you, dance, I don’t know, all done, ABC song, what’s that?, Alice (instead of “Alu”), ocean, milk, hello, tricycle, ah-choo!, chip, soup (instead of “boop”), hands, thumb, thank you
- Speech (Thai): milk, counting 1-10, water
- Speech (Spanish): milk, yes
- Concepts: She recognizes most of the numerals 1-9 and the letters O and U.
- Songs she can sing with a bit more clarity: ABCs, Do-Re-Mi, Happy Birthday, Twinkle Twinkle, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Wheels on the Bus, Cuckoo
- Gross motor: jumping with two feet, jumping off things with help, going down the slide (on her butt) all by herself, riding a scooter
- Self-care: Starting to pee in toilet. Telling us more frequently when she has to poop. Brushes her hair. Brushes her front teeth. Taking off her jacket on her own (including the zipper). Washing/wiping her face and arms.
- Habits: Falling asleep and sometimes sleeping on sofa. When she’s done drinking or eating something, she’ll say “all done ___” and then place it on the kitchen counter. She will put away her toys before sitting down for a meal.
