I came home early today and made it back in time to watch her wake up from her nap.
Zzzz…
Elephant

Found Janie falling asleep with the elephant that Auntie Ranee gave her. So cute…
Before the Storm

Here’s what our little “angel” looked like just a few minutes before she spent the following hour crying and screaming in her bed. The only way I could drown out the screaming was by taking a shower. Thankfully she figured it out and fell asleep on her own. Maybe it’s time to find a bigger house.
Nighty night

I love it when she willingly goes to bed.
5:00 am
It’s been a while since we’ve done this. This morning Janie woke up an hour early so I brought her into bed to feed her and she fell back asleep. She was still asleep as I was leaving for work around 7:30. Boy, this makes it really hard to leave in the morning. They look so cozy and comfy.
Out

This evening when we got home from shopping, Janie was still awake and standing in her bed. So I handed her some diluted prune juice before I started washing the dishes. When I finished, I went back to check on her and this is how I found her. I guess she had a pretty exciting shopping trip.
Chubby Cheeks

Janie might be slimming down a bit from all the standing and cruising but I could see her chubby cheeks in all their glory while she was napping in the stroller this afternoon.
Flying Home

Janie flew home today. Here’s a photo of her trying to get Uncle Jason’s attention at the airport in Maui. What a funny girl.

The flight from Maui to Oahu was short but she was hungry and cried for the last 10 minutes of the flight. Bummer. Luckily for everyone on the plane from Honolulu to SF, she actually slept a total of two hours.

All the grown-ups were served a free hot meal and Janie wanted a piece of the action.
no pants

One of the best things about Hawaii is that Janie can comfortably sleep without pants. This is how I found her this morning once I removed the blanket.

This is how she greeted everyone once she woke up.
